I've been down lately and have sensed that it's because of a separation with Holy Spirit.
This morning I realized that even though I may have thought my lamp had plenty of oil in it, there wasn't enough when I had to recover from my accident.
This is a good lesson for me! I should never assume I have enough oil 'cause then I slide by, thinking all is good. Right now - today, I need to replenish. I need to change some of my habits in order to bring Him back into my immediate thoughts and life. Do I need Him? YES!!!! (some may call this a crutch - NO!!)
I need: His Word, praying to Him, fellowship, worship, favorite scriptures, listening for Him in everything I do and giving thanks in everything, including the pain ... and love my Father with all my heart, soul and might.
